The Urbi Scripting Language, Jean-Christophe Baillie

In the second session of the morning during the Paris Game AI Workshop '08, Jean-Christophe Baillie of Gostai talked about the latest developments of a scripting language called Urbi, which has been in development for a few years in the context of robotics. The language supports primitives for event-driven and parallel programming, which seem particularly applicable to game AI — particularly techniques like behavior trees.
