GDC Lyon: AI Sessions Preview & Discounts Available!

Alex J. Champandard on November 25, 2007

I’ll be in France on the 3rd and 4th of December at the Lyon GDC, giving a talk on using behavior trees for AI logic. There’s a surprisingly large number of game AI sessions generally, so it should be especially interesting for regular readers. Coverage will follow over the next couple of weeks, but here’s a short preview…

Note that I should be particularly busy for the next few days; so apologies in advance if the regular routine on the blog gets disturbed a bit! (Also while I’m at it, sorry for not replying to all your recent comments as quickly as usual.)

Half-Price Tickets!

The organizers just notified me that I’m allowed a few half-price tickets, which I don’t have any intention to use currently, so if anyone wants one just contact me! The discounted entry costs €200, not including your transport and accommodation. If you live locally or if you know someone in Lyon, then it’s not a bad deal…

AI Sessions Preview

Hopefully the following sessions should convince you that it’s worth coming to Lyon!

Decision Making and Control Systems

State of the Industry

Machine Learning

Design & Storytelling

If you’re planning on going to GDC Lyon, then I look forward to seeing you there!
