nucl.ai Conference 2016: Last Tickets & Live Stream, July 18-20

Alex J. Champandard on July 10, 2016

The nucl.ai Conference, our event dedicated to AI in games and Creative Industries, will take place just 7 days from now on July 18-20. It's the largest event worldwide dedicated to the topic! The 3-day schedule is fully packed, the social events confirmed, and the streaming tech set up — in short everything is ready for you! In case you have missed any details about the 9 tracks, the 67 sessions, the live stream or anything else happening around #nuclai16 we have compiled a quick update here...

Session Highlights

Our speakers come from a variety of backgrounds, from AAA studios to indies or research institutions. Among others the sessions will cover the following games:

  • Alien Isolation
  • Far Cry Primal
  • Heroes of the Storm
  • Hitman
  • No Man's Sky
  • Paragon
  • Quantum Break
  • The Climb
  • Tom Clany's The Division
  • Total War: Arena

For full details, please see the official schedule.

Tickets & Discounts

If you want to attend on-site to participate in sessions and to connect personally to some of the best AI developers in the world there are still Conference tickets left and if you're fast enough even an All Access ticket or two. The ticket page will give you an overview of the available tickets and what they include.

In case you are an Indie (aka not owning a fancy coffee machine), between jobs or a student in full-time education we have discounts available for you. Email us at team at nucl.ai to make your case!

Sponsors

Now it's time to mention our sponsors, who help us provide cool things like refreshing coffee breaks (with snacks!) and a party with an all-you-can-eat buffet!

A very big thank you to:

  1. Creative Assembly, our biggest sponsor - again! They are hiring, so grab one of their dozen developers at the conference and ask them about life at Creative Assembly.
  2. NVIDIA, who will be providing two shiny GPUs for the poster/demo competition.
  3. Mi'pu'mi, who are also expanding their team of developers.

Networking Events

Following the live stream (see below) is great, but there is nothing like actually meeting all the speakers and other fellow AI-enthusiasts in person. We see many of these connections stay active for years and for good reason: They are incredibly useful! The people you meet here can give you valuable help, new job perspectives or pretty much always inspire fresh ideas.

To foster your exchanges and network-building we provide:

  • Coffee Breaks available throughout the day.
  • Meeting points for various interest groups.
  • Pre-Conf Meetup on the evening before the conference.
  • Conference Party on the first conference evening.
  • Networking Lunches (All Access & Day Tickets).
  • V.I.P. Dinner on Tuesday evening (All Access & Day Tickets).

You can find a list with all events, their times and locations here

Free Live Stream

If you can't make it to the conference this time you can still watch it live! We'll stream the main amphitheatre sessions from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. CET on all three days of the conference (July 18 - 20). Just head to the stream page and follow the instructions.

For the Q&As we'll also take questions coming in via Twitter, so feel free to write to us @nuclai and we'll do our best to make your questions heard!

Conference Recordings

We will record the sessions in the amphitheatre and the academy and make them available for:

  • All Access & Day Ticket holders
  • AiGameDev.com ULTIMATE members and PLATINUM+ studios

You can find all published nucl.ai Conference and Game/AI Conference recordings in our archives on nucl.ai

Social Media

As usual, you'll get instant news about sessions, streams, social events, and recordings by following us on Twitter (@nuclai), searching for #nuclai16 or checking on Facebook. If you have any encouragement or feedback we'd be happy to hear about it! We're also looking forward to seeing you all ping-pong questions, ideas, and solutions. :-)

See you at nucl.ai '16!

In short, either get your last-minute ticket now or join us on the live stream. See you there!
